• 2005 Awarded a LAFMI grant in collaboration with Didier Donsez for the project  "Service Binder NG: Extended Management of Services for Autonomous Systems"

• 2005 Awarded an Eclipse Innovation Grant in collaboration with Sonia Charleston Villalobos for the development of a lung-sounds analysis biomedical application on top of the Eclipse platform.
