Dr. Humberto Cervantes

Welcome to my homepage. I am currently a full time professor / researcher at the Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana - Iztapalapa (UAM-I) in Mexico City. I received a PhD in Software Engineering at the LSR laboratory, Adele Team (in France), in 2004. 

I am currently working on an applied research project in collaboration with Quarksoft, a CMMi level 3 software development company. This project focuses on developing and deploying methods and tools to improve the quality of the software architectures that are produced in the organization.

My current research interests include :

• Software architecture development methods in general, and building tools to support these methods.
• Establishing software development processes for small organizations and exploring how to model and automate the execution of these processes,
• Component-based software development and service orientation.
